Phillies activate Cody Asche from the disabled list
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder/third baseman Cody Asche has been activated from the 15-day disabled list.
What It Means:
Asche missed the first nine weeks of the 2016 regular season with a Grade 1 strain of his right oblique. He just finished up a full 20-day minor league rehab assignment, slashing a poor .169/.222/.407 with four home runs and eight RBI's in 15 games.
The former third baseman has a decent power stroke, but he's probably not worth a pickup in standard mixed fantasy leagues. We project him to post a .296 wOBA with six jacks this season.
