Derek Dietrich (head) avoids concussion, active as Miami takes on Pittsburgh

Miami Marlins infielder Derek Dietrich (head) is back in Tuesday's lineup against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

What It Means:

Dietrich was hit in the head by a ball which ricocheted off a wall in the dugout, but fortunately he was cleared of concussion symptoms. He came off the bench to replace the injured Miguel Rojas (shoulder) on Monday and should be good to go moving forward.

Dietrich is hitting .320/.411/.516 in 151 plate appearances. He's posted a .397 wOBA while recording 22 RBI's and three jacks.
