Logan Forsythe

Logan Forsythe took grounders Wednesday for Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Logan Forsythe (shoulder) took grounders Wednesday.

What It Means:

It's a nice first step for the rehabbing second baseman, who's been on the disabled list since May 14 with a fracture in his left shoulder blade. Forsythe told Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times he's aiming to return on the Rays' next homestand (June 10 to June 19).

He was sporting an exceptional .308/.398/.523 batting line with four home runs and 12 RBI's in 29 games before the injury. We project him to record a .329 wOBA over the remainder of the season.
