Dodgers' Yasmani Grandal rips fourth long ball of year

Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal hit his fourth homer Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds.

What It Means:

Grandal had been in a 2-for-33 slump while dealing with his frequent off days and a recent minor ankle injury. He's been awfully slump-prone throughout his career, partly due to playing through physical issues, but he can also look like an elite catcher at times.

For the year, Grandal is hitting .192/.274/.375 while posting a .284 wOBA in 117 plate appearances. Our models project him to finish the season with 13 jacks and 48 RBI's across 423 total appearances at the plate.
