Yankees' Alex Rodriguez (hamstring) to play one more rehab game
New York Yankees designated hitter Alex Rodriguez (hamstring) will play another rehab game with Double-A Trenton on Wednesday.
And then he should be activated on Thursday. A-Rod went 2-for-4 with two singles and an RBI in his rehab debut Tuesday at the Double-A level. He's been on the disabled list since May 4 with a hamstring strain.
Rodriguez was slashing just .194/.275/.444 with 5 home runs and a .312 wOBA through 80 plate appearances before the injury. Our models currently project him to hit .239/.337/.456 with 19 home runs and a .341 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
