Rockies activate Jorge De La Rosa for Tuesday start

The Colorado Rockies activated pitcher Jorge De La Rosa from the 15-day disabled list.

What It Means:

De La Rosa will return to the Rockies' starting rotation Tuesday night at Fenway Park against the Boston Red Sox after missing the last four weeks with a strained left groin. The veteran southpaw had a 10.18 ERA and 2.07 WHIP over his first five appearances this season and makes for an awful fantasy streaming option against the dangerous Boston offense.

Despite the extremely high ERA, De La Rosa owns a 3.99 xFIP and an impressive 26.7 strikeout percentage in 20 1/3 innings this season. Our models currently project him to record a 4.83 ERA and a 19.0 strikeout percentage over the remaining course of the season.
