Rougned Odor (suspension) in Rangers' lineup Tuesday

Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor is batting leadoff in the starting lineup Tuesday versus the Los Angeles Angels.

What It Means:

Odor had an appeal hearing for his eight-game suspension on Tuesday afternoon, but the Rangers aren't expecting a ruling to come down before the start of Tuesday night's game against the visiting Angels. The second baseman was issued the suspension (and a fine) for his role in last Sunday's brawl with the Toronto Blue Jays. Odor got a clean shot to the face of Jose Bautista after Bautista slid hard into him at the second base bag.

Odor is working with a .322 wOBA and .268/.292/.458 slash across 185 plate appearances this season. He has stolen five bases while hitting seven home runs and tallying 22 RBI's. We currently project Odor to hit .260/.303/.426 with 13 home runs, seven steals, and a .314 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
