Joe Mauer goes 3-for-5 with a homer in Twins' defeat
Minnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer went 3-for-5 with a solo homer in Monday's loss to the Kansas City Royals.
The longball came in the first inning off of Ian Kennedy and was Mauer's third of the season. The power has been lacking for Mauer, and he's cooled off in May after a nice April. However, he's still been productive overall with a .380 on-base percentage.
Mauer owns a .326 wOBA with three homers and one steal. We project him to record a .311 wOBA with six more jacks and four more steals this season.
