Khris Davis fails to record a hit in return to Athletics' lineup
Oakland Athletics left fielder Khris Davis (forearm) went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in his return to the lineup Monday against the Seattle Mariners.
Davis was limited to pinch-hitting duties Sunday after leaving Saturday's game with tightness in his right forearm, but he felt well enough to serve as the designated hitter on Monday. He should be ready to return to the outfield soon.
On the year, Davis is hitting .222/.257/.475 in 171 plate appearances. He's posted a .314 wOBA while recording 12 dingers and 29 RBI's.
