Huston Street (oblique) nearing rehab assignment with Angels
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Huston Street (oblique) will head to extended spring training on Friday.
Street, who is working his way back from a left oblique strain, should move on to a minor league rehab assignment from there. Barring any setbacks, he should return to the ninth inning for the Angels right around the start of June.
Street has earned a 1.17 ERA and 14.29 strikeout percentage across 7 2/3 total innings this season. He has recorded five saves in his nine appearances.
