Avisail Garcia out for third straight game for White Sox
Chicago White Sox outfielder Avisail Garcia is out of the starting lineup for the first game of Monday's doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians.
It'll be the third game off in a row for Garcia, who's batting .248/.313/.413 in 134 plate appearances this season. Brett Lawrie will serve as the designated hitter and Carlos Sanchez is at second base for Chicago in the early game versus Indians right-hander Mike Clevinger.
Despite Garcia's poor slash, he owns a .317 wOBA, which is above his career average of .306, and he's hit four home runs. Our models currently project him to hit .239/.297/.360 with seven home runs and a .288 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
