Reds' Raisel Iglesias (shoulder) has not resumed throwing
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Raisel Iglesias (shoulder) has not resumed throwing yet.
Iglesias was scratched from his start Sunday because of a right shoulder impingement and was placed on the disabled list (DL) shortly after. He won't be ready to come off the DL when he first becomes eligible on May 11. Tim Adleman will continue to occupy his place in the starting rotation.
Our model projects Iglesias for a 21.8 strikeout percentage, 7.7 walk percentage and 4.14 ERA over 56 2/3 innings the rest of the 2016 season. These numbers will be updated upon his return, but only the volume of innings is likely to improve.
