Arizona's Jake Lamb sitting Tuesday versus Marlins
Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb is out of starting lineup Tuesday against the Miami Marlins.
He probably would have been sitting anyway with the Marlins throwing left-hander Justin Nicolino, but beat writer Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic says Lamb has a minor shoulder issue. It'll be something worth monitoring the rest of the week. Brandon Drury is starting at third base and batting second on Tuesday night.
Lamb is slashing .275/.366/.513 with 3 home runs and a .374 wOBA in 93 plate appearances this season. We project his production to drop-off over the remaining course of the season, forecasting him to slash .249/.323/.383 with 7 home runs and a .305 wOBA.
