Boston Red Sox's outfielder J.D. Martinez exited Tuesday's game against the San Francisco Giants early due to groin tightness.
What It Means:
Martinez is being called day-to-day. Sam Travis replaced him in the designated hitter spot for Boston.
Prior to exiting the game, Martinez was 0-for-2 with a strikeout.
