Oakland's Stephen Piscotty (ankle) unlikely to return before the end of the regular season

Oakland Athletics outfielder Stephen Piscotty (ankle) is unlikely to play again in the regular season.

What It Means:

According in manager Bob Melvin, Piscotty is dealing with "some more ankle soreness" but will try to work back from the injury. It looks very unlikely at this point the veteran will be able to play within two weeks.

In 353 at-bats this season, Piscotty is hitting .252 with 13 home runs and 44 RBI.
