Ryan Zimmerman sitting for Washington on Monday
Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman is not starting in Monday's series opener against right-hander Dakota Hudson and the St. Louis Cardinals.
What It Means:
Zimmerman is being replaced on first base by Howie Kendrick. The almost 35-year-old veteran has gone hitless in four of his last five games.
