Justin Turner (ankle) scratched Tuesday, Gavin Lux added to Dodgers' lineup

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner (ankle) was scratched from Tuesday's starting lineup against the Baltimore Orioles.

What It Means:

Turner was also held out of Sunday's series finale against the San Francisco Giants, so this is a third straight day of rest. It's believed to be a minor issue, so the Dodgers may just be erring on the side of caution in a winnable matchup on the road. Gavin Lux is replacing Turner in the lineup while Chris Taylor is covering the hot corner and batting third. Enrique Hernandez is now in right field and hitting fifth. Lux is on second base out of the nine-hole.

Turner is batting .291/.370/.514 with 27 homers, 67 RBI, 2 steals, and 80 scores in 538 plate appearances (131 games) this season.
