Jose Martinez (shoulder) recalled, starting for Cardinals Sunday in Game 1
The St. Louis Cardinals added outfielder Jose Martinez (shoulder) to the active roster as part of MLB's rules for September expansion.
Martinez is replacing Dexter Fowler in right field and hitting fifth versus right-hander Tyler Mahle and the Cincinnati Reds in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader. He missed the past few weeks with a right shoulder issue.
Martinez is averaging 6.9 FanDuel points in 110 games for the Cardinals this season.
