Braves put Brian McCann on IL with knee sprain
The Atlanta Braves placed catcher Brian McCann on the 10-day injured list with a left knee sprain.
What It Means:
McCann suffered the injury in the third inning of Tuesday night's game against the Marlins. It's not clear how much time he will miss. The Braves called up catcher prospect Alex Johnson from Triple-A Gwinnett in a corresponding roster move.
McCann is hitting .264/.336/.423 with 10 homers and 39 RBI in
