Yoan Moncada (hamstring) expected back Thursday for White Sox
Chicago White Sox infielder Yoan Moncada (hamstring) is expected to be activated from the injured list on Thursday.
Moncada is playing in back-to-back games with Triple-A Charlotte on Monday and Tuesday. If all goes well, that will be the end of his rehab assignment. The 24-year-old infielder has been on the injured list since July 31 because of a right hamstring strain.
Moncada is hitting .301/.358/.535 with 20 home runs, 21 doubles, 59 RBI, 58 runs scored, and 7 steals in 409 plate appearances (97 games) for the White Sox this season.
