Fernando Tatis Jr. (back) expected to be placed on 10-day IL by Padres
San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (back) will be placed on the 10-day IL.
What It Means:
Tatis left Tuesday's game with the back injury and sat out Wednesday as well. The club is hopefully their offensive leader will be able to return after a minimum stay on the shelf.
Tatis is slashing .317/.379/.590 with 22 homers and 16 steals in 372 plate appearances this season.
