Brian Dozier on Nationals' bench in finale with Reds
Washington Nationals second baseman Brian Dozier is not starting in Wednesday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Trevor Bauer and the Cincinnati Reds.
Dozier hit his 17th home run of the season on Tuesday after being limited by illness to pinch-hitting duties in the previous three contests. He's back on the bench Wednesday afternoon, with Asdrubal Cabrera handling second base.
numberFire's models expect Dozier to record 5 homers, 17 RBI, 15 runs scored, and 2 steals over the rest of the season.
