Jay Bruce absent from Phillies lineup on Friday night
Philadelphia Phillies right fielder Jay Bruce will not start Friday's game versus the San Francisco Giants.
What It Means:
Bruce drew the start in left field and batted fifth in Thursday's game, but will head to the bench on Friday in favor of Corey Dickerson, who will bat third against the righty Tyler Beede.
