Giants' Steven Duggar diagnosed with left shoulder strain
San Francisco Giants outfielder Steven Duggar has been diagnosed with a strained left shoulder.
Duggar suffered the injury early in Wednesday's contest against the Los Angeles Angels while trying to make a diving catch. He's expected to wind up on the injured list. Austin Slater tagged in to replace Duggar in right field on Wednesday.
Duggar is hitting .234/.278/.341 with 4 homers, 12 doubles, and 28 RBI in 281 plate appearances (73 games) for the Giants this season.
