Matt Chapman (ankle) remains out of the A's lineup Friday
Oakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman (ankle) is not in the lineup on Friday.
What It Means:
Chapman is missing his second consecutive game with an ankle injury but is expected to return to action on Saturday. Chad Pinder is at third base again Friday night.
Chapman is batting .279 with 22 homers and 59 RBI in 405 plate appearances this season.
