David Freese out of Dodgers' Thursday lineup
Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman David Freese is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Aaron Nola and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Freese went 1-for-4 with a go-ahead 2-run homer and a walk in a 7-2 win over the Phillies on Wednesday. He's batting .301 with a .991 OPS in 61 games for the Dodgers this season. Matt Beaty is starting on first base Thursday.
