Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Adam Frazier is not starting in Wednesday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Daniel Ponce de Leon and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Kevin Newman is moving to second base and the leadoff spot in place of Frazier while Jung Ho Kang starts at shortstop. Frazier went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in Tuesday's win over the Cardinals.
