Phillies' Odubel Herrera suspended into 2020 season
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera has been suspended for the rest of the 2019 season and into the 2020 season.
Herrera's total suspension will last 85 regular season games, forcing him to be out until April 2020. Herrera was suspended due to a violation of MLB's domestic violence policy. He will not appeal.
In 139 plate appearances this season, Herrera has a .222 batting average and a .629 OPS.
