Cardinals' Jordan Hicks (triceps) undergoing MRI Monday
St. Louis Cardinals reliever Jordan Hicks (triceps) will undergo an MRI on Monday.
Hicks exited Saturday's game with what was initially diagnosed as triceps tendinitis, but the MRI should provide more clarity. John Gant appears to be the frontrunner for save opportunities if Hicks winds up on the injured list.
Hicks has converted 14-of-15 saves for St. Louis in 29 appearances this season. He owns a 3.14 ERA and 0.94 WHIP with 31 strikeouts and 11 walks over 28 2/3 innings.
