Yandy Diaz out again Tuesday for Rays due to hamstring injury
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz is out of Tuesday's lineup versus the New York Yankees because of a hamstring issue.
It's a second consecutive absence for Diaz, but the Rays are hopeful it won't be an extended absence. Joey Wendle is manning the hot corner Tuesday for Tampa Bay and Travis d'Arnaud is playing first base.
Diaz is batting .286/.363/.502 with 11 home runs, 12 doubles, 31 RBI, and 36 runs scored over 248 plate appearances (56 games).
