Jay Bruce (hamstring) still sitting Tuesday for Phillies
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Jay Bruce (hamstring) is not in Tuesday's lineup versus left-hander Patrick Corbin and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Bruce hasn't played since leaving early Saturday with hamstring tightness, but he's not expected to require a stint on the injured list. Sean Rodriguez is starting in left field for the Phillies on Tuesday. Roman Quinn is in center.
Bruce has gone 12-for-39 (.308) with 5 home runs, 2 doubles, 13 RBI, and 9 runs scored in 11 games for the Phillies.
