Kansas City's Ryan O'Hearn sent down to Triple-A on Friday
Kansas City Royal first baseman Ryan O'Hearn was optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Friday.
What It Means:
O'Hearn will spend some time in the minors working on his swing after struggling with the bat this season. The Royals have recalled Jorge Bonifacio to replace O'Hearn's roster spot.
In 186 at-bats this season, O'Hearn was batting .188 with 6 home runs and 18 RBI.
