Mariners option Shed Long to Triple-A on Friday
Seattle Mariners second baseman Shed Long was sent down to Triple-A Tacoma on Friday.
What It Means:
Long will spend some time in the minors with J.P Crawford and Dee Gordon back on the active roster and healthy. Look for the 23-year old to play everyday at Tacoma.
In 69 at-bats this season, Long was hitting .232 with one home run and five RBI.
