Edwin Encarnacion sitting for Seattle in Thursday's finale
Seattle Mariners first baseman/designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Michael Pineda and the Minnesota Twins.
Encarnacion went 0-for-5 with a strikeout in Wednesday's extra-innings win over the Twins, though he did score a run after drawing a walk in the eighth inning. Kyle Seager is at DH Thursday while Dan Vogelbach is making another start at first base.
numberFire's models expect Encarnacion to record 22 homers, 61 RBI, and 49 runs scored over the rest of the season.
