Kevin Pillar sitting Tuesday for San Francisco
San Francisco Giants outfielder Kevin Pillar is not starting on Tuesday versus right-hander Chris Paddack and the San Diego Padres.
Pillar is giving up right field to Mike Yastrzemski while Tyler Austin starts in left. The 30-year-old has hit safely in three straight games, but owns an underwhelming .215/.243/.343 slash line overall between 247 plate appearances for the Giants and Toronto Blue Jays.
numberFire's models expect Pillar to improve moving forward, as we expect him to bat .260 over the rest of the season while recording 8 dingers, 35 RBI, 44 runs scored, and 13 steals.
