Eduardo Escobar launches pair of long ones in Diamondbacks' win
Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eduardo Escobar went 4-for-5 with 2 homers, a double, 5 RBI, and 3 runs scored in a 13-8 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday.
Escobar jacked a 2-run shot in the top of the fourth inning and then did it again in the next frame before adding an RBI double in the sixth. He's already up to 17 dingers after hitting a career-high 23 between the Minnesota Twins and Diamondbacks last season. The 30-year-old veteran is setting personal-bests in batting average (.299), on-base percentage (.356) and slugging percentage (.594).
