Joey Votto (hamstring) back in Reds' lineup Friday
Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto (hamstring) is back in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener versus left-hander Patrick Corbin and the Washington Nationals.
What It Means:
Votto is replacing Derek Dietrich at first base and batting second. He had been sidelined since tweaking his right hamstring while scoring on a sacrifice fly in the first half of Monday's doubleheader against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
