Jeimer Candelario recalled, starting for Tigers Tuesday
The Detroit Tigers recalled third baseman Jeimer Candelario from Triple-A Toledo.
The Tigers placed starting pitcher Spencer Turnbull on the bereavement list in a corresponding roster move. Candelario is batting sixth on Tuesday versus right-hander Dylan Bundy and the Baltimore Orioles. Brandon Dixon is moving to the designated hitter spot and batting fifth. Miguel Cabrera and Niko Goodrum make up the rest of Detroit's infield. Josh Harrison is out of the lineup after leaving early Monday with a left hamstring injury.
Candelario averaged 7.2 FanDuel points in 38 games for the Tigers before being demoted.
