New York Yankees pitcher Masahiro Tanaka was forced to leave Saturday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays after suffering a right shin contusion.
What It Means:
Tanaka was hit by a come-backer and will likely be day-to-day after his x-rays came back negative. Expect the team to announce an exact recovery date soon.
Through ten starts this season, Tanaka has produced a 3.09 ERA and 53 strikeouts.
