Tampa Bay's Nate Lowe optioned to Triple-A on Wednesday
Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Nathaniel Lowe was sent down to Triple-A on Wednesday.
What It Means:
Lowe had some success in the majors but was optioned to the minors to play everyday. Look for the Rays to replace his roster spot with Austin Meadows.
In 30 at-bats this season, Lowe produced a .300 batting average with one RBI.
