Howie Kendrick on first base for Nationals Monday
Washington Nationals infielder Howie Kendrick is starting in Monday's series opener versus right-hander Jhoulys Chacin and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Kendrick is replacing Jake Noll at first base and batting third. He should see additional starts at first while Matt Adams is on the injured list with a left shoulder strain. Yan Gomes is catching Max Scherzer over Kurt Suzuki and working out of the cleanup spot. Adam Eaton is Washington's leadoff man and Victor Robles is in the two-hole. Wilmer Difo is batting sixth.
numberFire's models expect Kendrick to score 10.5 FanDuel points on Monday. He's priced at $3,200.
