Washington Nationals left fielder Juan Soto has been scratched from Wednesday's lineup versus the St. Louis Cardinals due to back spasms.
It's the first time Soto has been out of the lineup this season. Michael Taylor is now in center field and batting eighth versus Cardinals right-hander Miles Mikolas. Victor Robles has shifted to right while Howie Kendrick is now batting third, followed by Matt Adams, Yan Gomes, Spencer Kieboom, Wilmer Difo, and Taylor.
