Francisco Lindor (ankle, calf) could be active Friday for Indians
Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor (ankle, calf) could be activated off the injured list on Friday.
Lindor will play for Triple-A Columbus again Thursday and then return to the Indians to be evaluated. He went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double for the Columbus Clippers on Tuesday. Barring any setbacks, the star shortstop could make his season debut in Friday's series opener against the Atlanta Braves. Eric Stamets has been handling things at shortstop for Cleveland so far.
numberFire's models expect Lindor to bat .285 with 29 home runs, 82 RBI, 99 runs scored, and 20 steals this season.
