Orioles' Alex Cobb placed on 10-day injured list
Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Alex Cobb has been placed on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 6, with a lumbar strain.
It's already Cobb's second stint on the injured list this season. The 31-year-old right-hander was scheduled to start on Wednesday versus the Oakland Athletics.
Cobb gave up 5 hits and 2 runs with 4 strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings Thursday in the Orioles' home opener on April 4.
