Arizona's Jake Lamb (quad) sidelined for six weeks
Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb (quad) has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 quad strain and will miss the next six weeks.
Tough break for the oft-injured Lamb as he will be out until Late-May/early-June. Christian Walker will likely be the biggest beneficiary as he will see more playing time open up. Eduardo Escobar will handle the bulk of the third base starts in Arizona.
Lamb has batted .267 with 2 RBI and 1 run scored in 18 plate appearances this season.
