Braves' Mike Soroka (shoulder) throws live batting practice
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Mike Soroka (shoulder) completed a live batting practice session Sunday.
It was the first time Soroka threw to hitters since experiencing renewed soreness in his right shoulder last month. The 21-year-old right-hander doesn't have a timetable to return, but he's not expected to be ready for Opening Day.
Soroka recorded a 3.51 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with 21 strikeouts over 25 2/3 innings last season.
