Latos allows one hit, earns loss
Mat Latos looked like his old self on Monday, tossing seven innings of one-hit, one-run ball.
Latos struck out seven and only allowed two walks, but still got outpitched by Kyle Hendricks. Latos has been involved in trade rumors as the Marlins continue to fall out of contention. On the season, he has an underwhelming 4.90 ERA yet a 3.72 xFIP, suggesting he's pitched better than his ERA suggests. He's not worth his contract, but there are definitely teams that could use him. Latos and his 1.52 nERD should stay off your fantasy team for now, but keep an eye on him as he's picked it up as of late.
