Jake Bauers headed to Cleveland in three-team deal
The Tampa Bay Rays have shipped first baseman Jake Bauers to the Cleveland Indians.
In a three-team deal, Bauers and former-Seattle Mariners first baseman Carlos Santana will head to Cleveland. The Indians will send Edwin Encarnacion to Seattle, while they'll also ship Yandy Diaz and Cole Susler to the Rays.
In 96 games last season, Bauers hit for a .201 average with 11 home runs and 48 RBI with a .700 OPS.
