Carlos Frias (back) headed to 15-day DL
The Los Angeles Dodgers have placed their starter Carlos Frias on the 15-DL and have called up left handed pitcher Daniel Coulombe from Triple-A OKC. Frias was removed from Tuesday's game in the 5th inning after experiencing tightness in his lower back.
Frias didn't seem 100% during a recent bullpen session, so he's been placed on the DL. Coulombe has an ERA of 8.53 and a nERD of 0.44 in 4 games this year.
