Yan Gomes (thumb) behind the bag for Indians against Astros in Game 1
Cleveland Indians catcher Yan Gomes (thumb) is starting in Game 1 of the American League Division Series versus the Houston Astros on Friday afternoon.
Gomes is ready to roll after requiring stitches for a laceration and contusion he suffered on his right thumb during the Indians' second-to-last game of the regular season last Saturday. He will catch Corey Kluber and bat eighth versus Astros right-hander Justin Verlander.
numberFire's models project Gomes to score 9.2 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,600 in Game 1.
